Our direct client located in Long Island, NY has a long term (6 months+) contract position open for a ?Project Manager ? Development?. Excellent written and verbal communication skills A MUST! Requirements:

? Experienced software development project manager with 7+ years (Minimum) managing complex software development projects
? Excellent communication skills, written and verbal ? REQUIRED!!!
? Experience interfacing with senior management
? Experienced in the full SDLC - software development life cycle - from project initiation through code deployment, etc.
? Experience in the telecom industry is a plus but not required


Other Notes:

? Must have extensive Software Development PM (practical experience)
? Candidate will not be programming/coding
? Extensive experience managing development projects thru the full SDLC in required ? No Exceptions!!!
? Projects are very visible - Deal with many executives, so thick skin and excellent communication skills are needed
? Not looking for Business Analysis experience
? Not looking for process engineers or a PM who defines the project lifecycle
? Client wants to see how you delivered your past projects and drove them to completion
? Should be able to take over an existing project
? Must be able to take the customer requirements and shepherd them into the SDLC (code/test/deploy)
