This contract Field Support position requires Lenovo/HP Laptop and desktop break/fix experience, as well as Windows OS expertise.
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Works with both onsite Engineers and remote Engineers
Experience: At least 2 - 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
A+ certification required
Lenovo/HP Laptop and desktop break/fix experience
Windows XP and Windows 7 knowledge
Shrinkwrap application knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with a variety of tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
Excellent customer service skills in an large corporate environment required
Strong ability to think outside the box and drive to fix problems
Strong organizational skills equal to keeping constant updates in trouble tickets and accurate inventory
May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
