Client is implementing a MS Exchange environment for the agents and field staff. This is to replace a current Critical Path webmail environment. Part of the requirements for building this environment is the integration with the current agent and field staff web based contact management system. The current web based system is a highly customized version of the vendor Navagate's Agility CRM product. This integration of Contacts, Calendar, Activities, Tasks, Notes/Journal entries, webmail and IM is to be designed and addressed as part of this effort. Currently, the application has its own home grown Calendar, and the business wants to only have the user deal with only one interface and one calendar. The business area would like the OWA look and functionality integrated within the system. There is also additional integration that needs to continue to function, such as attaching a calendar entry to a specific contact or policy as a note for historical reasons, this is only one example.
As we progress with Exchange integration, we need resource(s) who has dealt with Exchange Web Service(EWS) in detail, and someone who understands various EWS operations, their usage, and pros and cons. Additionally, solid experience with Outlook Web Access (OWA), embedding, segmentation, customization, and synchronization etc. would be required. This person(s) will be looked at to be the expert resource, mentor and knowledge share to developers and depending on what the design ends up being the resource(s) may also do some coding.
