We have an immediate need for a Linux/Wintel Admin
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must be willing to work 12hour off-shift from 6:00am to 6:00 pm on an alternating 4day / 3day schedule or some other kind of flexible off-shift/weekend schedule to implement changes to or resolve problems with servers.
. Will provide level 3 Intel server technical support, hardware support and system administration for a commercial outsourced account
. Must have Microsoft clustering experience.
. Scripting skills in VBscript, PERL, and Windows batch script
. Create change requests (RFC's), obtain approvals, and represent changes at CAB meetings
. Will provide Intel server technical support, hardware support and system administration for a commercial outsourced account
. Includes support of 3200 servers running the NT/Windows/Linux/VMware/Netware Server operating systems & associated products
. Requires 24x7 on-site support responsibilities, travel to other customer sites in the area, and in-depth, complex problem resolution skills
. Will be involved in installation, maintenance, technical planning, & upgrades of OS software as well as other software products required by the customer
. Will maintain hardware configurations, respond to requests for hands/feet assistance, and adhere to all standards & processes (esp. security, change, and problem management)

Skills Required: Win2003/2008 SA with hardware knowledge -- best candidate would also possess skills in MS Clustering for High Availability, Linux, and/or VMware ESX. Other requirements: MCSE certification, Active Directory experience, Group Policy Object (GPO) experience, x-Series technology experience
