Candidate will perform load testing tasks and support systems of a highly complex nature with little supervision including research, design, evaluation, and recommendation. The ideal candidate would have advanced application load testing and performance analysis skills that cover a broad range of disciplines with previous performance analysis and tuning experience. Must have an understanding of "C" programming fundamentals, variables, conditional execution, data structures, pointer manipulation, compilation, debugging, etc. Technical aptitude and ability to understand and articulate complex architectures. Must understand 3 tier systems from an architectural perspective. Must understand relational databases and their use in, information systems. Understand SQL and its syntax while retrieving, updating, and inserting information into the databases. Must have previous experience conducting performance analysis against various components within the infrastructure. Must have an understanding of network protocols and communication. Ability to review and understand protocol analyzer trace files. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, possess the ability to perform in a technical team, and interface with the management. Candidate must have previous experience supporting software development projects, and demonstrate an understanding of accepted practices of the Software Development Life Cycle Management.
Requirements:
Desired Skills: Mercury Interactive certification. Experience with the following software: Mercury Interactive LoadRunner, BMC Patrol, BMC Perform/Predict, Veritas I3, Oracle Statspack. Previous experience working with the following: JAVA, Websphere, Apache, Oracle 9i.
