UAT Business System Architect in New York, NY

Description ? UAT Architect is responsible for design and implementation of Enterprise business system validation (Pivotal and Cognos Apps) based on a business process perspective. ? The individual will work closely with business system owner and SME teammates on tasks associated with requirements definition and participation in a System Requirements Review and all phases of test development. ? Develop UAT scope analysis including cost-benefit analysis for test development efforts ? Develop UAT strategy to effectively leverage the granularity of test versus business scenarios ? Develop User Acceptance testing plan, test cases (UAT) and trace-ability matrix with the Business Requirement Documents and Existing test results ? Interface with Business Stakeholders and IT Infrastructure teams to work through the defect repair, complete test cycle and production rollout of the project including ensuring business requirements and business acceptance documents are accurately developed. ? Conduct periodic test case walk-throughs with business and requirements groups for new features. ? Assist with training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems. ? Obtain working knowledge of business unit processes, procedures and current applications. ? Develop recommended process and SOP for Pivotal and Cognos UAT upgrades / releases. Requirements ? Required Skills: Business process, Quality Assurance, Development lifecycle testing, Test case development. Excellent oral and written communication skills. ? BS Information Systems or related and 5+ years of experience ? life sciences industry preferred. ? Automated testing tools experience preferred. ? Team Leader experience in managing application testing, browser/security/UAT testing, database testing (SQL Server/UDB). ? Must be experienced with life sciences? (preferred) business/systems analysis, SFA tools, Cognos, financial applications, SQL and HTML/ASP based applications.
