Pierce has an immediate opening with a large financial corporation in New York City. Brief Description: Client is looking for a member for the Program Management Team, which supports the Performance Reporting Area of Client Technology. The key projects that will be supported are the expansion of the client hierarchy application suite and the convergence of the Management Reporting System into MATRIX. This is a critical objective on the mandatory maintenance phase of these projects. The Developer will join an active development team supporting a key GMI application. It is expected that the candidate have the ablity to hit the ground running and make an important contribution to the success of the project. Candidates must be able to multi-task and learn quickly. Summary: 3-4 year, mid level developer. Front end development. Handle web based applications in Java and .NET. This is a pure front end development job (HTML, Javascript, Java, J2EE). Technical Skills Required: Candidates should have development experience with JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, ASP, HTML, XML, VBScript and VisualBasic. C++ is a plus. Candidates will be involved with the following in-house and off-the-shelf software packages: Jbuilder, DreamWeaver, MS-Access and IIS.
