We are working directly and exclusively with the CTO. He is ready to interview and hire for this position. This is a rare technology opportunity. The company is committed to driving the development of a new platform that has the potential to not only change the company?s competitive industry advantage but also change the industry itself. -- Initially 7 direct reports (eventually up to 15-20 direct reports) -- Broad practical technical background. -- Ability to grasp and understand projects and manage/develop, make it happen. ROLE Hands on responsibility for the design, development and implementation of the comprehensive company-wide platform/project. -- Hire and lead a team of developers, project managers and technologists to deliver on-time and on-budget. -- Must be able to define common components such as interface protocols, common business objects, GUIs, use of data bases, etc. Establish key architectural requirements for each element and drive their seamless integration among internal and external development partners. -- Manage vendor partners to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of assigned modules that are compliant with architectural requirements. -- Ensure quality of code development (consistency, object orientation, documentation, etc.) -- Oversee testing and tightly controlled deployment methodologies. -- Facilitate business adoption by user community. -- 10-20% travel REQUIREMENTS -- Must be familiar with .NET and JAVA development frameworks. -- Experience in rapid application design and deployment for large scale projects. -- Financial accounts management services / call center experience helpful. -- Vendor management experience required. -- Proven track record on delivering projects on-time and on-budget.
