please send resume to Sales Executive Job Description NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - SALES EXECUTIVE NEEDED WITH BACKGROUND IN CAPITAL MARKETS/PROJECT SALES Established midtown Manhattan company with niche expertise in Capital Markets business and technology solutions. The company is project based and deploys small teams of highly skilled technical specialists to design and build complex and sophisticated capital markets domain for front office trading and risk management applications. Responsibilities: The Client Development Executive will be responsible for developing and growing business in existing and new accounts. The successful candidate will have a recent proven track record and will have achieved demonstrable success in their sales career within the consulting sector. Specific Finance Sector experience is preferred. Primary Function: The Client Development Executive is responsible for selling service offerings to Fortune 500 financial service organizations. ? Identifying new prospects, qualifying leads and closing business by executing a disciplined solution selling process with an average sales quota of $2M-$4M. ? Selling to business and technology executives in large financial services firms. ? Developing and implementing account strategy and plans within existing key accounts. ? Execute various methods to identify qualified business opportunities including, but not limited to cold-calling, warm-calling, personal contacts, networking and relationships as well as referrals. ? Collaborating with company engagement managers and senior deliver resources to propose solutions to clients and complete the sales cycle. ? Providing accurate and timely reporting of business development activities and pipeline. ? Recording all contact and sales information in the company CRM system. Qualifications: ? 5-10 years of successful quota attainment in the IT consulting industry. ? A high-level understanding of the technology used in large financial institutions. ? Ability to sell to senior business executives. ? Experience with small, entrepreneurial companies. ? Preferably, some key relationships in the financial industry. ? Previous experience of selling financial IT consulting services and project based solutions preferred. ? Excellent communication skills. ? Previous experience in using a CRM system to store contacts and sales information. ? A good knowledge of the financial industry. ? Bachelors degree (MBA a plus).
