Job Description
Experienced client/server technician with systems design and integration experience. Proficiency implementing and configuring custom applications running in a windows environment.
The primary responsibilities include:
. Maintenance and production support.
. Implementing and configuring custom vendor application software into server environments.
. Independently defining system scope and objectives based on requirements
. Conducting and providing direction to others regarding requirements, analysis/design, development and testing.
. Deployment coordination and communication.
Experience: Required Skills
. 5+ Years plus of relevant client server experience in a large enterprise environment.
. Experience installing and supporting applications in Windows 2000/2003 Servers, WIN2K & WIN XP desktop and Linux.
. Knowledge of Client/Server configuration, TCP/IP networking protocols, SecureFTP.
. Familiarity with Microsoft Server applications (SQL Server 2000, IIS 6.0).
. Troubleshooting knowledge and experience.
. Understanding of SQL scripting, windows scripting and IBM DB2
. Strong Documentation skills.
. Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external business clients.
Preferred Skills
. Banking and/or Check processing experience desirable.
