QA Analyst for a Global Software Firm in New York, NY

Our client is a leading global company offering software product and services worldwide. They have developed a market-leading product, with an integrated suite of workflow applications that automate the business flow of their customers equity trading operations, which is used in all the worlds major financial centers.

The role of a QA Analyst is to help verify, through testing, that their trading systems provide the functionality their customers need.

Candidates must have good communication skills and a technical background. They must be detail oriented, adept at logical thinking, conscientious, and meticulous. Candidates should have experience testing financial order management and trading systems.

An ideal candidate would also have skills in some of the following areas:
- Knowledge equity markets
- Experience testing some of the following financial technologies: FIX, CMS, NASDAQ QIX, STAMP, multicast market data feeds
- Experience with basic UNIX commands and features
- Experience developing automated test suites.
- WinRunner script development experience.
