Technical consulting services in the design, development, implementation and expedition of hardware and software solutions in support of corporate IT activities. Coordinate activities to meet project deadlines and will work to resolve conflicting priorities between technical resources. Develop and foster commitment to high quality standards. Develop project plans for the implementation of assigned projects. Understand both technical and business concepts and will be able to communicate those concepts to internal clients and developers. Formulate and define system objectives and features through research and interviewing. Develop thorough functional design specifications, based on research and interviewing, and provide consultative guidance to project teams for their evaluation. Coordinate system installation with user department to ensure satisfactory results. Develop thorough understanding of the Software Development Methodology and will apply it appropriately to the development activities managed.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Performs analysis of business requirements, providing feedback to internal clients and technical resources to insure client expectations are captured accurately.
2. Will be expected to answer business unit questions on platform design and capabilities.
3. Develops functional design specifications in consultation with developers as well as business units.
4. Presents requirements and design to technical resources responsible for implementation.
5. Coordinates the activities of technical resources, throughout the SDLC. This will include developers, qa technicians, dbas, and system administrators.
6. Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.Required SkillsMinimum bachelors degree in related field.Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Organizational skills, analysis experience and problem solving required, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
Presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills required.
