Performance Test Analyst in Syracuse, NY

Description: Responsible for managing several aspects of performance testing and tuning (scalability, stress, load, disaster recovery) in a multi-tiered web application anvironment (J2EE and Microsoft Technologies). Set-up and maintain test plans and environments. Help define and organize performance-testng requirements across multiple teams. Effectively analyze, communicate, and present test results. Requirements: -Breadth and depth of knowledgte in distributed application architecture supported by system/network/web/database administrators. -Familiarity with software platforms such as WebLogic, WebSphere, MSSQL, Oracle, and IIS. -Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows desktop and server operating systems (NT, 2000,2003) as well as UNIX operating systems such as Sun Solaris, HP/UX, and/or Red Hat Linux. -Thorough understanding of client-server and HTTP technologies. -2 to 5 years experience programming. -Fluent in object oriented and/or J2EE concepts. -Experience troublesooting networks. -Experience working with Mercury products, preferably LoadRunner. -3 to 5 years experience discerning and specifying application user requirements including usability metrics.
