Senior Business Systems Analyst to $180k+ in New York, NY

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Review, analyze, and evaluate business requirements/user needs; Oversee application development and implementation efforts; Act as liaison between the business units and technology; Formulate statements of business requirements, research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for systems design; Manage staff and contractors of 3-10 application developers and business analysts. Qualified candidates must have: Proven track record of management of developers and analysts; Strong leadership skills and a very hands on approach; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; 5-8 years of financial industry experience (2-4 years in management role); experience with industry standard applications such as PORTIA, Macgregor, and Eagle PACE/STAR; and hands on front-end and database programming skills - SQL, Sybase, and Oracle.
