Information Architect/Project Manager_LJ in New York, NY

Gathering business requirements from functional groups Providing relevant research to functional groups from competitive analysis and site analytics Establishing project parameters Establishing and maintaining the project timeline with input and buy-in from different business groups Creating wireframes, user flows and preparing functional documentation based on best-practices Project Execution Working with creative, technical and other business teams to ensure project objectives and scope are carried out Ensuring deliverables meet project requirements Reviewing deliverables with business stakeholders and incorporating their feedback Maintaining the project timeline, identifying red flags and resolving impediments to project completion Bachelors degree required 3-5 years of relevant experience Knowledge of user interface best practices Proficient with MS Office tools including Project, Visio and Access Strong understanding of web development and QA processes Familiarity with web technologies such as Flash, DHTML, content management and Java/J2EE Experience in the e-commerce space a plus Ability to dissect site analytics data and propose recommendations based on that data Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be a self starter and solution seeker Must be extremely resourceful and enthusiastic Display a capacity to learn quickly and respond well to changes and opportunities Must possess a focus and understanding of customer needs, always place the customer first Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
