Job Summary:
The QA Release Manager will be the primary person responsible for all steps of the release process including: release planning, building and notification; acceptance testing; release readiness review; rollout planning, preparation and implementation. The release managers' key responsibilities will include: tracking the entire release process, keeping all involved people informed about the state of the release including dates, feature freeze, bug counts, release candidates and final release. Maintaining and managing a list of things, which need to be done and to ensure that someone is taking care of them. Coordinating with the Implementation team to ensure that co-dependencies between new processes and tools and deployment plans are accommodated. Raising unresolved issues and drive discussions to closure. Working with project team to define release time lines based on requirements or changes to the product.

Required Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in release management Familiar w/ J2EE application deployments Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Exceptional resource management skills. Ability to successfully complete projects within established timelines Strong leadership, organizational, and communication Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills? Independent worker who consistently meets establish goals and objectives

Preferred Skills:
BS In Computer Science or Engineering. Knowledge of Prepaid industry. Experience with CVS/Subversion Unix Scripting Working knowledge of Mavern/Ant
