Genesis10 is currently searching for a Senior Technical Specialist with strong Business knowledge.
We seek candidates who know agency and direct securities lending, structured finance, collateral management and cash reinvestment. The senior technical specialist is required with experience in securities lending business process, product and technology automation. Intimate familiarity will be gained of the Agency lending business, the supporting processes and supporting technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The requirements and responsibilities for all aspects of the Sr. Technical Specialist Role include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Establish architecture, design and infrastructure recommendations across a department. Oversee general architecture; ensure best practices are followed.
- Provide technical oversight across systems and applications; leverage skills across department. Establish software development methodologies and guidelines for program analysis and design for department. Establish standards and methodology for coding, testing, debugging and implementation for department.
- Work closely with key business groups to design and implement system solutions for critical development efforts. These include a new conduit lending program, fails coverage automation and improvements to the third party lending program. The candidate will also be required to review system architecture with senior team members to establish design strategies going forward.
- The candidate will be expected to undertake complex technical development and leverage resources from within and outside the team to complete critical tasks. The candidate will also be required to create test plans and coordinate testing with the users. Experience: CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Familiarity with business tools eg MSOffice, MS Project, Visio. Experience with distributed environment technology (UNIX and NT based), SQL server and SQL querying. Client delivery methods (FTP, secure e-mail, Actuate reporting).
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Understanding of one or more of the following business processes, securities lending, cash management, collateral management, settlements. Ability to bridge business needs and technology development.
