As part of the Internal Applications Development team, you will be responsible for the development and support of the company's external and internal web sites, as well as the automated build and test infrastructures. Your responsibilities will range from interfacing with end-users to gathering and documenting user requirements and designing and implementing solutions. Your ability to cooperate with your colleagues on all levels is very important. It is also crucial to have strong organizational and communication skills as this position assumes future managerial responsibilities. In this role, you will be interacting with business and financial analysts, account managers and member services specialists. On the technical side, you will work side-by-side with backend, frontend and database designers, as well as quality assurance specialists.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years experience professional development in object-oriented software
* Exceptional standard and enterprise Java skills, including Servlets and JSPs
* Python, HTML, JavaScript and Adobe Photoshop knowledge is a plus
* Good understanding of relational databases, Oracle experience is a plus
* ASP.NET and C# knowledge is a big plus
* Strong software architecture background
* Exceptional problem solving skills
* Ability to learn a new industry and technology quickly
* Good at working both alone and in teams on disparate tasks - highly motivated with initiative and self-management skills
* BS in Computer Science or related field
