Our client has an immediate need for a mid to senior level Cisco VoIP Engineer to implement and support new and emerging voice technologies with an emphasis on VoIP, on a contract basis. As a Cisco VoIP Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the corporate server and network environments and monitoring existing systems for this growing company. These environments include: Cisco PIX firewalls, Cisco IP Telephony Architecture, Cisco Security Agent, Cisco router based VPNs and Snort IDS. This person will be expected to provide technical expertise and guidance in the planning, implementation, migration, support and capacity planning of IP Telephony Applications. Responsibilities also include monitoring and tuning the enterprise IPT network for optimal performance, and maintaining and expanding the company's VPN based WAN network.
