This position is located in New York, NY
Candidates should have 5-7 years experience designing for the web and exhibit an expert knowledge of interactive design. Candidates should be masters of digital design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. An in-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and some Action Script 2.0 is required.
Note: This is NOT a programming position. This is a visual graphic design position. Online portfolios are required. Candidates' online portfolios should:
Demonstrate a true mastery of graphic design fundamentals including layout composition, color theory, typography, and logotype design. A background in Print design is a plus. Attention to detail is a MUST.
Exhibit a mastery of interaction design, including proven experience designing Flash-, HTML-, and CSS-based websites and interfaces. Experience with Localized content a plus.
Demonstrate a broad range of experience from the conceptualization and design of large portals and editorial illustration to small spot graphics and promotions.
Experience with Content Management Systems and large-scale templated websites preferred.
Must have experience working as part of a team but also be capable of working autonomously at times.
