A. Job Description
The Technical Account Manager is the operational day-to-day point of contact for our DART for Advertiser agency and marketer clients. They are involved in the pre-planning, implementation and reporting aspects of online advertising campaigns. Their knowledge of what their client's objectives are help them drive appropriate product and feature usage, monitor training needs and assist Sales and Product Management.

B. Responsibilities
  • Obtain in-depth understanding of strategic client business in relation to online advertising efforts.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations are aligned with customers marketing plan
  • Identifying and referring all new revenue opportunities to the Account Director
  • Ensure customers are effectively utilizing the DoubleClick Customer Resource Center.
  • Maintain frequent communication with account base to access customer satisfaction, inform clients of product enhancements updates, best practices etc.
  • Ensure clients are educated in and following outlined DoubleClick policies and procedures.
  • Provide consultation on custom development projects
  • Engage Account Directors in any discussions regarding contracts or privacy as required.
  • Actively inform Account Directors of eventful happenings with accounts.
  • Produce a weekly summary of any relevant items that need to be documented.
  • Document any intricacies or details on an ongoing basis in a central location.
  • Fielding and coordinating resolution of client specific issues and escalations
  • Serve as liaison between client and other internal groups
  • Providing tailored communication of product bugs as necessary.
  • Occasionally traffic online advertising campaigns into the DART for Advertisers interface and QA cases prior to sending tags
  • Handle all post-trafficking follow-up with publishers websites
  • Work with Product Management to resolving/troubleshooting issues the UI


    C. Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in customer facing role
  • 1+ year(s) in Online Advertising or Marketing environment (Media Planning, Marketing Manager, Account Management?)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of an Adserver (DFA, Atlas?) and related products (MediaVisor) a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (Sales Logix/ Remedy) a plus
  • Effective decision making skills
  • Effective organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to accept accountability for actions
  • Ability to work well across functional groups
