Well-funded Baby Biotech seeks Director of IT with Systems Engineer background to own, manage and direct transition from outsourced to in-house IT support. Candidates MUST HAVE pharmaceutical/clinical trial/compliance experience. • knowledge and experience with the Windows XP environment • knowledge and experience with office applications (MS Office, etc.) • knowledge and experience with network software installation (TCP/IP, NIS, DNS, LAN, WAN, VPN) • knowledge and experience with hardware installation and upgrades • ability to teach and train about network use and software skills • knowledge and experience with network e-mail (MS Outlook, Blackberry Exchange) • dedication to appropriate uses of computer technology, including the ability to use and adapt older equipment Some of the day-to-day support tasks may include the following: • performing backups of our staff's computers and of the server • routine network administration and maintenance • adding and deleting network users • ensure that virus protection software is up-to-date, and cleaning any viruses that infect staff computers • training and assisting staff in using hardware and software efficiently • troubleshooting routine problems Experience: REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years Pharmaceutical experience - 5+ years Systems Engineer/IT Director experience Local candidates only.
