Job Description:
- We are seeking Managers and Senior Managers ("Manager") with a sound understanding of computer forensics, electronic discovery processing, data management, enterprise technology, litigation support and document review.
- The Manager will be deployed on a variety of projects spanning from discovery management, document retention, litigation readiness, training and/or staffing opportunities in the related practice areas.
- Experience and skills in aspects of technology including, but not limited to, forensic technology, data security, data center and computer based architectures, network topology, document retention and destruction, archiving, storage technologies, disaster recovery, tape and alternative media backup schemes, electronic mail and communication systems, data restoration, data conversion, electronic discovery, and/or data management.
Responsibilities:
- Project management for forensics, discovery, document retention/destruct ion, litigation readiness, and enterprise data management
design projects
- Identification and documentation of data sources
- Analysis of complex systems to determine best practices for data storage
- Working in the analysis of current and historic computing environments at the server, backup and desktop levels.
- Analyzing electronic mail and communication systems
- Working with off-the-shelf and proprietary archiving software
- Working within the boundaries of an overall practice methodology and blueprint.
- Ongoing analysis and deployment of best practices applicable to the technology practice area.
- Review of current offering sets and development of new offerings in-line with business need and market direction.
- Participation in the development of customer proposals.
- Assistance in the development of white-papers, published reports, and articles relevant to your relevant practice area.
- Documentation of specific protoc ols, methodologies or operations
- Provide support and deliver continuing legal education to law firms and corporate legal departments
- Work as a senior level analysis in the areas of forensics, discovery management, EDD processing and document review
- Provide strategic approaches to projects and deliver out-of-the-box thoughts as projects start-up or progress
