SENIOR SOFTWARE/QA CONSULTANT
Sky IT Group, is actively recruiting exceptionally qualified, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Senior Software/QA candidates for a senior level consultant position in our New York, NY (Manhattan) office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in both manual and automated testing (Functional, Regression and/or Performance Testing), on both C/S or Web Based Applications using the Mercury Interactive Application Delivery tools (Quality Center, QuickTest Pro., WinRunner, LoadRunner). Solid academic record with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Certification a plus (CPC level and/or CI).
Responsibilities include performing short and long term consulting projects, Training, Sales Demos, Project Management, Project Assessments, Best Practices, Requirements Analyses, and script development. Must be willing to travel 65%.
This po sition will also require some development skills, a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, and professional experience in:
. Application Design and Development
. Data Extraction
. Integration using scripts and other mechanisms
. Business Process Design and Requirements Analysis
. Administrative level knowledge of Database and Operating Systems
. Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
Experience with:
o Databases such as Oracle, SQL, DB2 or MS Access
o Operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Unix
o Programming Languages such as C, Java, .Net, VB Scripting or SQL
o Networking Protocols
