Job Summary
As a Senior Designer at Sapient, you function as a key member of the Creative Design team and you will be responsible for the development and execution of creative concepts for leading-edge Web solutions and software.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop creative brief by gathering business and design requirements thru client and team meetings.
Develop and frame creative concepts according to creative brief requirements.
Extend existing online visual systems across applications or Websites with moderate design changes or interpretation
Create new visual design systems based on offline systems.
Present comps to clients and team members; back up and defend design rational.
Manage and execute final concept thru completion of project
Develop and define online standards in form of style guides.
Work with team/client to develop and create basic process flow and story boards.
Mentor co-workers and provide design inspiration
Identify tools, templates, and techniques that evolve existing approaches for the larger Creative Design community at Sapient.
Job Requirements:
Must provide url/portfolio
Bachelor's degree preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications.
3+ years of industry experience
Candidates must be well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques
Proficient to expert in: Illustrator, Photoshop
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred
Experience in offline or various mediums a plus
