Powerbuilder/Sybase Developer in NEW YORK, NY

My client is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join the group's technology team.<p> Primary responsibility is to support requests for application maintenance / enhancements and production support activities. Modify code and test new and enhanced systems and programs from business requirements. Work closely with the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance teams to implement applications enhancements. <p> Related responsibilities typically include the following:<p> &#149; Modify code and test new and enhanced systems and programs from business requirements. <br> &#149; Investigate and resolve moderately complex systems and programming problems. <br> &#149; Recommend solutions and recommends design improvements for increased efficiency. <br> &#149; Function independently at a high programming level with responsibility for meeting plans and schedules.<br> &#149; Perform production support as needed.<br> &#149; Develop time estimates for Project Production Requests.<p> Experience: Position Requirements:<p> &#149; 5+ years progressive programming / analysis experience. <br> &#149; Proficient in PowerBuilder 9/10<br> &#149; Experience in credit and billing applications a plus<br> &#149; Strong Sybase / SQL skills<br> &#149; Knowledge of Unix<br> &#149; Experience with Crystal Reports<br> &#149; Knowledge of ASP and Java and XML a plus<p> <b>Please send resume to </b><p> To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
