Senior Software Engineer
We are a well-funded pre-IPO firm producing a cutting edge next generation medical device involving highly accurate laser based machine vision, powerful CAD/CAM software and customized high accuracy milling. This is an important hire for our company. Our team is a group of exceptionally bright and talented engineers, and you need to be a like-minded individual who wants to be part of this team working on bleeding edge R&D and the commercialization of this technology. For the right individual(s), compensation is extremely competitive and includes a substantial goal based bonus system, as well as stock options.
You must have:
1. Excellent C/C++ skills.
2. A four year college degree with a strong background in computer science and applied mathematics, mathematics, physics, etc. An MS or PhD is a definite plus.
3. At least two years experience.
In addition you MUST have at least one of the following skills:
a. Extensive understanding/background with 3D graphics - OpenGL, DirectX or similar experience.
b. Extensive knowledge and experience with NURBS, modeling, visualization, CAD, CAM, 3D/4D graphics, surfacing, computational geometry.
c. Computer vision with structure from motion experience.
e. Extensive experience building advanced 3D interactive systems.
f. Advanced image processing experience.
