The Reporting and Repository Services group supports portfolio managers and analysts by providing timely and accurate portfolio and analytic information for making investment decisions.<p> Principal Responsibilities:<p> This dynamic group works closely with the Fixed Income and Equity business units using a variety of modern technical tools including Sybase, Java, C#, Actuate and SAS. This is a great opportunity for a financial savvy candidate to join a high-performing team of client focused technical professionals delivering quality systems for one of the best asset management firms on the street. <p> Experience: 5+ years experience <br> Strong Core Java – understanding of class design and collections. <br> SQL – strong data modeler and relational database experience. <br> C#/ WinForms – understands building front ends with WinForms (VB experience ok). <br> Asset Management experience working knowledge of standard fixed income and equity instruments and their characteristics, as well as the familiarity with portfolio management and trading. <br> Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, coach and mentor others. <br>Collaborate on designs and integrated development. <br> Strong communication skills – able to articulate complex ideas verbally and in writing. <br> Commitment to delivery – must take pride in delivering quality work in a timely fashion. <br> Time Management – work effectively, communicate risks appropriately, and take responsibility. <br> Mulit-Platform Environments – designing process for Unix/Windows platforms. <br> Reporting tools – knowledge of reporting packages (Crystal Reports, Actuate desired). <br> Business Analysis – performing analysis for small to medium size projects/. <br> XML – understands defining, working with XML and XPath. <br> •J2EE/Web Services – understands J2EE concepts, especially SOA. <br> Sybase/TSQL – reading knowledge of TSQL – understanding of sproc optimization. <br> Fixed Income experience – working familiarity with fixed income products, especially bonds, international currencies, futures, options, and derivatives. <br> Scripting knowledge desired<p> <b>Please send resume to </b><p> To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
