CDI has a DIRECT JOB OPPORTUNITY for aJava Developer in Midtown Manhattan
The Java Developer needs to have 4-8 years of Java experience, ability to program with Apache/Tomcat, Hibernate, maybe used MySQL and would be nice to be familiar with XP (Extreme Programming) methodology. UNIX familiarity a plus. The best fit would be if they have demonstrated web company experience, either on a consumer website or a web advertising firm so they would know some of the company's scaling issues a bit.
Back end experience all Java J2EE with real Web Application experience. Web application development exp in a public facing kind of experience not in internet or financial application experience.
Environment is a Big Java Shop, OpenSource Solutions, Solaris / Unix environment with MySQL as their database.
