2 System Analyst Positions open in NYC for one of our financial client.
Job Description:
The SAs will be working closely with the technical team to create (may have to reverse-engineer from code where required) Design / specification APIs in order to comply with CMMI processes.
Work with project team members (technology group) to identify and create various documents, both Technical & Regulatory. This may include creating documents independently or updating documents created by programmers to apply standards and changes to content if applicable, to improve readability.
Some expected tasks include creating & maintaining design documents, document API's and usage, doument procedures,processes, etc.
This person will also maintain the project document repository, paying attention to quality and procedures.
Good written and spoken skills, previous experience in financial industry preferred.
Desired:
. GUI experience such as JSP, servlets, AJAX, STRUTS, are nice-to-have but not necessary
. Database skills: Sybase, Oracle is desirable
Duration : 1 YR
Experience: Experience working with a Technology team, ability to document processes, configurations, architecture, procedures, APIs, etc. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio required. Some exposure or familiarity with version control systems. Exposure to ERWIN or Rational Rose a big plus. CMMi experience. In addition to the skills, appreciate if the candidate can provide samples of the work they have done in the past. They are required to have exposure to J2EE technologies.
