Responsibilities:
As a Web Application Developer, the individual will work with in-house staff and external vendors to build and maintain polished, highly professional corporate Web sites and external user communities. This individual must be able to analyze, implement, debug and document all software related to the development of the Web applications.
Requirements
Four-year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or any other degree with equivalent experience;
Two (2) years of software development;
Project experience through the full development life cycle – requiring gathering, analysis, writing specifications, design, implementation, testing, delivery to an end-user community; and follow-up support;
Experience with Object Oriented Software Development in a multi-tier software environment;
Development experience on a site with significant database access;
Solid background in current Internet technologies;
Excellent communication skills;
Knowledge of tax, investment or financial planning concepts a strong plus;
One (1) year technical experience in the following areas:
Software development using C# or Visual Basic Net.
Web site creation using HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
Database development using SQL Server or similar platform;
Data manipulation and data transfer using XML and XSL;
Experience with Macromedia Flash or Adobe Photoshop a strong plus;
Windows Server/IIS administration a strong plus.
Experience: Intermediate Java, Intermediate .Net Visual Basic, Intermediate C#
