Position Description:
1. The ideal candidate will work as part of a national operations project team on a Strategic Asset Classification project.
2. Experience in the Security Master/Book of Record space is required.
3. Familiarity with securities products, creation, trading, and pricing is required.
4. Familiarity with 3rd party vendor feeds that provide reference data, descriptive data, and pricing is required.
All of the 10 following skills/experience are mandatory for consideration:
Skills Required:
1. Planning and scheduling of activity related to recent projects
2. Capability to move from Abstract Goals (project level goals) to Discrete Activities (detailed requirements gathering) to Abstract Presentation (Key Milestones, Deliverables) and Discrete Deliveries (actual closure of deliverables)
3. Executive and Project Level Presentations to key stakeholders, management, sponsors, and project teammates as appropriate
4. Business-based writing experience including Executive Briefings, Business Requirements documents, Assistance on Technical Documents
5. Medium to advanced Desktop Productivity experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint 6.
6. Experience in mediation of working groups (5-8 peer level actors)
7. Experience in working with Senior Managers ( one-on-one or in groups)
8. Discuss any Capacity Planning experience as appropriate to Business Analyst experiences, e.g. where new processes resulted in new systems, new roles, new business, and the requirements to estimate, plan, turnover, and stabilize the new production model
9. The candidate must be familiar with a full service brokerage's operations and services, including Account Services, Securities Services, and Transaction Activity and Support.
10. The candidate should demonstrate a clear understanding of project lifecycles, software development lifecycles, and project team interactions for delivery of stated business objectives.
11. The appropriate candidate should be able to respond to changing priorities, work on a self-directed basis, and deliver to task oriented goals daily
