The company is looking for a dynamic individual to join its team of systems engineers in the development of high scale, high performance web applications, designing systems solutions for implementation by a local or a remote team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Deploy applications on systems supporting (SDLC,) DEV, INT, QA, and PROD.
-Support all facets of production: environment, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
-Ensure proper system configurations.
-Share with developers the ownership for the deployment process of new applications.
-Active directory users/security/group policy/TCPIP best practices.
-Maintenance responsibility for IIS administration.
-Provide documentation and versioning of server and application builds.
Skills and Qualifications:
The following are the minimum requirements for consideration:
-BS in Computer Science or related major.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
-Considerable experience installing and maintaining Windows Server OS.
-Extensive experience performing custom web application deployments.
-Skilled at scripting VB/VBS.
-Considerable and successful track record deploying large scale custom windows-based applications.
-Substantial knowledge of and experience with new server builds.
-Enterprise Storage experience.
-Expertise with server hardware.
-Substantive and verifiable data center experience.
-Administrative tools native to Windows.
To enhance your candidacy, you should also have:
-WMI a big plus.
-MS SMS.
-Hyena.
-Knowledge of .Net and C# application environment.
-MS Clustering.
