VB.NET web Application developer
Responsibilities:
.Taking over an ASP.net application development and maintenance
. Converting existing project to VB.NET using VS2005 plus adding new enhancements.
. Communicate regularly with internal end users and IT supports (DBA, QA)
. Need to extend existing database architecture and modify tables and stored procedures to implement the new enhancements.
Desirable but not Essential qualifications:
. Entertainment industry experience.
. Forms and Workflow management application
Duration : 3- 4 months but will be extended upon performance review.
Location : Midtown, NYC
Experience: Minimum 2 years of related work experience in Web Application development using VB.NET. 1. Oracle DB experience preferred. 2. MS Application blocks. 3. A good understanding of multi tier application design and OOP. 4. VB.NET and VS 2003 and VS 2005 we will be 5. Good hands on client side scripting like javascript and vbscript. 6. Must be self dependent and can handle the application life cycle from requirements
