As an ASP.Net and C# Developer, you will design, develop, and test web applications utilizing C# and .Net technologies for the Investment Banking Division. You will be part of the technology team supporting our Investment Banking Division, which identifies, structures, and executes diverse and innovative public and private market transactions for corporations, financial institutions, and governments. This division also handles transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, the issuance of equity or debt capital, and initial public offerings.
REPORTS TO: Manager of the Investment Banking Division technology team
Duties/Responsibilities
Lead the analysis and design of projects using a modified version of the Rational Unified Process (RUP)
Work closely with the client to gather requirements, manage their expectations, and provide project updates
Coordinate the implementation of the projects based on the business requirements, making sure the solution follows our established best practices
Fully test the solution, both unit testing of own code and team integration testing of the entire solution, prior to Alpha Test
Evaluate the integration of 3rd-party applications
Contribute to and ensure the use of Best Practices within our group
Help recruit, train, and mentor new application developers

Experience: Required Background/Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related discipline
4+ years solid experience with ASP.Net and C#
Experience in financial markets, prime brokerage, and risk metrics
Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Development
Major Pluses to Have
Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases
Experience with RUP
