A well known Investment Bank in the New York City area is looking for a Product Manager to their Mobile technologies group.

Description

Working in the IT End User Platform's Mobile Technologies group. The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout a product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, service delivery and operations to ensure quality, standards and agreed goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the overall TIS strategy and goals.

The Product Manager is expected to:

- Define the product strategy and roadmap

- Syndicate the strategy and roadmap to stakeholders

- Deliver and maintain a prioritised list of Design Change Requests

- Definition of the end-user experience

- Define, track and report on product KPI's

- Work with business facing stakeholders such as Divisional IT

- Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products, samples and demonstrations

- Maintain knowledge and be an expert on industry direction of both competitors and vendors

- Maintain a close relationship with the vendors to feedback on vendor products and maintain license and support agreements

- Oversee service delivery of products from a governance standpoint Act as a leader within EUP and TIS


Experience: Qualifications

ITIL Training Microsoft Certified Citrix Certified Program Managment Certified

Work Experience

- At least 10 years experience working with Mobile Technologies such as handheld devices, laptops, Citrix

- Must have worked closely with internal customers and other technology groups within an IT department

- Must have worked in an infrastructure technology group such as Engineering, CTO or R&D

- Must have presented technology architecture using tools such as Powerpoint and Visio

- Must have understood product costs and performed cost benefit studies
Desirable

- Has worked in a customer relations role

- Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge

- Windows Server 2003

- Windows XP Desktop

- Windows Vista

- MS Office Applications

- Knowledge of Application pachaging with MSI

- Knowledge of application streaming such as Softgrid

- Knowledge of networks, SSL, IPSEC

- Knowledge of handheld devices, Blackberry and Windows Mobile
