We have an immediate need for a Sr.\Lead WAN Engineer for one of our Long Island based clients in the financial industry. Responsibilities of the WAN Engineer include supervision of a technical organization in a large enterprise environment. Build, configure, and maintain network infrastructure applications with Cisco, Windows 2000/2003 Server or Advanced Server including active directory and security patching. The ideal candidate must be knowledgable of network integration and support processes including collecting business information requirements from user departments. Other responsibilities include network configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and reporting, document procedures, configurations and disaster recovery.
