Support the Investments team, specifically traders and the associated middle office teams, in all aspects of the Business Analyst function within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including concept development, requirements gathering, requirements writing and user acceptance testing; some minor production support . <p>
Principal Responsibilities:<p>
Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals …etc) <br>
Work with the Traders, Investment operations and Portfolio Managers to define and then document business requirements <br>
Serve as a liaison between Investments and Client Technology Group <br>
Interact with technology partners on a regular basis and communicate business needs and changes in process and/or strategy <br>
Handle day to day operational questions/issues from the business <br>
Work closely with Project Management team<p>

Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance or Management <br>
3+ years experience Business Analysis experience
<br>
Experience as a business analyst in the Investments space with proven analytical abilities and communication skills <br>
Proven track record of successful project implementation and a background in Investments (trading, portfolio management, settlements <br>
Working knowledge of basic SQL <br>
Exhibit the ability to easily work with all levels of the organization from senior level management reporting to hands-on day-to-day issue resolution and problem resolution <br>
Experience developing and executing business strategies and technology projects within the buy side investment industry <br>
Experience in a Mutual Fund industry or Sell Side firms environment with a sensitivity towards delivering a high level of service to traders, portfolio managers and the middle office.<p>
Technology background<br>
- High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project<br>
- Technology background – software development lifecycle, familiarity with n-tier architecture and messaging technologies<p>
