As a C++ UDB Team Lead, you will be part of a global team involved in the development of key strategic projects and responsible for the coding, testing, and implementation of various components within Global Securities Risk Management. Developing with C++ and IBM'S DB2 UDB, you will work in close partnership with our Risk Management and Prime Brokerage businesses.

REPORTS TO: Manager of the Risk Management Technology team

Duties/Responsibilities

Manage a team of small developers
Lead the coding, testing, and implementation of applications development projects using C++ and IBM's DB2 UDB
Support and maintain production applications
Lead and perform technical coaching of less experienced developers
Build quality applications by encouraging a test-driven, iterative approach to software development
Participate in technical discussions with other developers and keep up-to-date with new software technologies and methodologies

Experience: Required Background/Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related discipline
5+ years solid experience with C++ and IBM's DB2 Universal Database
Experience in financial markets, prime brokerage, and risk metrics
