A telecommunications company located on Wall Street seeks is currently looking for an IT Specialist. The IT Specialists assists in fulfilling several of the day-to-day responsibilities of the IT office. Tasks will include management and execution of select policies, procedures and projects owned by the IT office, as well as end-user support.

The IT Specialist is responsible for all or part of these areas:

Inventory Management / Asset Tracking
Equipment organization
End-user Triage and Support
Troubleshooting
Fail-and-fix
Select software and hardware updates
Preparation of new equipment
Recycling/disposing of old equipment
Various back-office tasks as deemed necessary
Evaluation and testing of software and hardware



Experience: Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of all major Microsoft operating systems
General understanding of the principals and concepts of computer networking
Experience with the Microsoft Office application suite
Familiarity with common computer problems and fixes
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
Ability to take general direction and develop a work plan
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to produce written documentation
Proficiency in English

This role will be temp to perm. Once the spot goes perm, salary will be between 40-45K.
