Developer/Architects will require skills and experience in application architecture & development.
Job Requirements
-3 yrs developing object oriented programs (could be Microsoft or Java background)
-3 yrs web application development experience
-3 years with application architecture
-1.5 yrs ASP.NET and C# experience as a hands-on developer
-2 yrs SQL 2000 or higher and experience with writing complex stored procedures, views, and triggers.
-Strong skills in ASP.NET, C #, and T-SQL programming
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Experience writing technical documentation
-Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
-BS/BA or equivalent
Pluses
-Experience with Ariba
-Enterprise scale application development
-C++ or Java background
-Experience with log4net, nUnit.
Important
-Need to be able to talk about why did something a certain way.
Will need to be able to do this while talking through your resume.
-If get a simple question like what is the browser doing when you go to a web site.
Can answer it.
-the persons career needs to be in large application development.
-If the person came from a start-up, this is perfect, not a requirement though.
-They arent using web services but will be.
This experience would be great.
Projects
Adhoc reporting..They use crystal now and want to migrate off it.
The right person could visualize how to build the crystal reports product.
Could ask the questions to get the requirements for building it, understand how to prototype something as a simple alternative for crystal reports.
Not that they will build something that big.
But could.
Bugs..Things are happening now that bomb and they might be obscure and hard to recreate.
Can describe how they would go about finding the error
(debugging the error).
Say a module exists that is a client problem or issue...maybe it is a data size issue.could optimize the problem.
Scale it for the client so that the program could run smoothly.
