2 Developers - Hoboken, NJ
- 3 to 5 years overall experience in software development.
- Minimum 3 years development experience using Microsoft development platforms.
.NET. SSIS, Excel VBA / SQL Server are the primary technologies which will be used.
- Minimum 2 year development experience with Java
- A background in developing Risk systems is a plus
- Experience working with Algorithmics or similar system is a plus.
- At least 2 years of SQL development experience
- Data Modeling will be integral to overall system design.
- An understanding of batch automation and the ability to deploy and maintain batches.
- Ability to work comfortably in highly varying levels of abstraction from business strategy to product strategy to high level technical design to detailed technical design to implementation.
- Ability to clearly document and communicate objectives, requirements and designs at these different levels of abstraction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective presentation skills

Fixed Income Developer - NYC
- At least 3 years experience with developing solutions for Equity trading business (i.e. Equity Financing, Program Trading & Agency Trading )
- At least 3 years of Java, J2SE development
- Understanding of trade and market data feeds (i.e. FIX trading, Reuters, NYSE, Nasdaq , Low latency trading etc.)
- Asynchronous messaging technologies (i.e. MQ, API )
- Fundamental understanding of database modeling and ETL type applications.
- Ability to build ETL batches to manipulate data into and out of a variety of trading and back office systems.
- Experience working on a trading floor supporting mission critical applications
- Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. This involves the ability to assess priority and make appropriate decisions quickly and effectively.
- Successful candidates will feel comfortable in a team oriented environment and possess skills to win over the trust of a broad user base.
