BASIC FUNCTION: As part of M&T’s Quality Assurance Test Group within Central Technology, the Quality Assurance Test Lead would participate or provide oversight in requirements gathering and the development of test plans and strategies with team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for all aspects of testing on a project which includes test strategy, plan, defining, obtaining, and managing test resources.Oversight of manual and automated test script/case design, execution and defect/test reporting.Participates in QA continuous process improvements.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in leading Test teamsGood understanding of Project Management and Systems Development methodologiesExcellent CommunicatorGreat time management and organizational skills, detail orientedAble to design and execute test scripts/casesBachelors degree or above in a IT related field or have at least 5+ years experience in a QA test lead environmentIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Test Management experience, experience test management tools a plus (Mercury, Seque)Experienced in defect tracking tools and test metrics reportingExperience in managing automated and manual testers, on/offshore a plusProject Management experienceStrong understanding of Technology Application Architectures/LanguagesWorking knowledge of Technology Infrastructure & Information Security
