TECHNICAL NETWORK SPECIALIST in Middletown, NY

Provides telephone technical support for call center, sales department and commercial services department. Interfaces with prospective and existing Commercial Service customers to provide on-site support with customer problems. Update department databases. Configuration and troubleshooting of various manufacturer routers and troubleshooting of Cable Modems and Coax Cable used in Commercial Service deployments. Must be available for overtime.
Experience: A+, A+ Networks, Cisco network Administrator and/or MS Certification is a plus. Extensive understanding of personal computers and client software. Working knowledge of PC Hardware Architecture - Intel, Pentium processors, sounds boards, hardware & software configurations. Must be familiar with various Windows operating Systems (98, ME, XP, 2000) and Linux; working knowledge of Domain name servers and email.
