My Client is seeking a experience Mac/PC network admin! Experience with X-SANS a huge plus. Great Environment, NYC base company!
Must haves:<br><p>
Minimum of five years experience in the field of system administration with a strong background in Apple operating systems and hardware<br><p>
Knowledge of Apple OSX, Open Directory, Netboot, Xserve and related technologies (i.e. Xraid, Xsan, etc),<br><p>
Integration between OSX and Active Directory<br><p>
Good working knowledge of fundamental networking principals (TCP/IP, AFP, SMB, DHCP, DNS, Kerberos, VPN, FTP)<br><p>
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems<br><p>
Excellent oral and written communication skills<br><p>
Network rendering/render farms<br><p>
Bonus:
Has worked in a related industry
Knowledge of Maya, Adobe Products (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), MS Office
Windows OS (XP, Vista, Server 2003)
Linux/Unix (Debian Sarge and Etch)
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery principals
Passport and willing to travel if the need were to arise
