Our client, a leading, global financial services firm located in downtown Manhattan has a position for a Backoffice Developer.
Description:
-Ideal candidate has extensive experience in the design, hands on development and support of software that interacts directly with databases (Informix database is our first choice but sysbase/sql server, etc ok as well)
-C++ with embeded SQL a must
-work with Java, ASP, Sybase a plus
-exposure to the financial world is a big plus
-ability to take ownership of another person's code and troubleshoot it and update it will be a challenge that must be undertaken
-ability to handle fast pace and higly viotile environment
-must have 4 yr college degree in comp sci or engineering type discipline
Required Education
Minimum of a BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences
