CS-Systems Analyst in NEW YORK, NY

The IDX Systems Analyst works with a team of IT professionals to provide support for the ongoing operation and usage of the GE Healthcare Centricity (formerly IDX Flowcast). The IDX Systems Analyst will perform a wide range of activities within the IDX system and its various modules and components. In addition, the IDX Systems Analyst will work with projects to bring up new modules, related products and interfaces. This position will report to the Assistant Director of IT for Healthcare Applications.

Responsibilities:
• Communicates with end users to help identify and resolve operational issues. Submits and monitors system IDX-related issues and requests through IDX’s Vantive case management system. Tracks problems, requests and follow-ups through YAI’s internal Help Desk management software.
• Participate with unit and integration testing for new applications, upgrades and enhancements.
• Trains staff in the usage of the IDX modules and functionality. Creates and updates end-user and departmental documentation.
• Creates DBMS reports, Custom Scheduling Reports per user request
• Monitors activity with the IDX e-Commerce website, and EDI Tool Kit activity
• Performs Dictionary and Fee Schedule updates.
• Maintains Security Plus user profiles, categories and WebFrame roles and rights.
• Creates and maintains form letters, encounter forms and dunning notices.
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly production tasks.
• Assists users with the configuration and usage of PCS workfiles.
• Monitors and logs disk usage and other IDX systems performance indicators.
• Analyzes edits related to claims submission, remit posting and eligibility files.
• Understands and follows IT Departmental, professional and Agency-wide standards and procedures.

Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field and two years equivalent work experience.
• Training in various aspects of the GE-IDX environment.
Knowledge & Experience
• Expertise with IDX modules and functions including BAR, SCHED, PCS, Security Plus, WebFrame, eCommerce and Eligibility. Experience with EDI Toolkit desirable.
• Experience with Cache and AIX configuration desirable.
• Experience with SQL and data warehouse concepts and techniques desirable.
• Experience and expertise with MS Office applications.
