ASSET MANAGEMENT Infrastructure has an IMMEDIATE need for a full time SQL SERVER DBA with solid windows administration skills . We are looking for a candidate with financial or experience in an Equities Trading Environment as well as senior experience with SQL Server 2000 and higher. This is a full time employee position. This is a position that requires excellent communication skills, solid Windows Administration knowledge, Senior SQL Server knowledge, and a winning attitude. Excellenbt communication skills are a must. Candidate will possess excellent skills in remediation of performance and other system issues in a multi-discipline environment working as a member of a team. This requires a person with considerable experience in performing Disaster Recovery Operations and High Availability Failovers. This is an immediate need! The successful candidate must be a self-starter, self-sufficient, take-ownership type of person with the analytical skills and knowledge to assist and support a fast-paced ASSET MANAGEMENT operations environment. Candidate's primary focus will be MS SQL Server database administration reporting to the DBA manager. This position also interacts with developers technical personnel, project managers, business analysts and technical support staff, and third party vendors. Key deliverables for this position are smooth and efficient production operations, completing development tasks on time which meet or exceed quality expectations. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Minimum of 7 - 8 experience Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Experience, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Experience,Windows 2000 and 2003 experience,Windows Clustering experience,Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task, and be results-oriented.
