Serve as liaison between the business community and the IT Application Development (AD) organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs; translate business requirements into functional specifications; must possess business domain expertise in the business unit(s) supported and understand the systems and capabilities of the IT organization Assist in business process redesign and documentation, as needed for new technology initiatives; translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to specifications Negotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation Provide Operational monitoring and support in production and non-production environments across multiple platforms Level 2 troubleshooting for multiple AM Applications to include Eagle Pace, Eagle Star, IDSS, LVTS and Charles River. Research and analysis into the root cause of problems and any downstream affects Analysis of testing requirements, Test environment set up and maintenance and testing results analysis for the AM Eagle Pace environment Production of metrics and reports as needed to support the Eagle Pace environment Flexible to work extended hours as needed for troubleshooting, maintenance and implementation tasks Tasks and Responsibilities: MUST HAVE EAGLE PACE EXPERIENCE-Works in production and not production environments to provide real time monitoring of Asset Management Applications.-Provides level 2 support for incident and problem recovery of Asset Management Applications.-Works with the applicaiton development teams to provide monitoring and recovery standards and solutions for supportability.-Strong knowledge of systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.-May lead project teams; may serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives.-Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area. -Handles complex operational tasks, resolves complex problems, and recommends processing and technology changes.-Strong ability to work with business owners and AD teams to support applications that comprise components from different vendors; monitors SLAs and Disaster Recovery requirements.-Serves as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues.-Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and / or system components. Required education/experience: MUST HAVE EAGLE PACE EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. 6 to 10 years of IT work experience in applications programming / analysis.
