Responsibilities:. The candidate will be part of a newly created project team responsible for building a highly scalable transaction engine needed to support a new product in the marketplace.. Working in a startup like environment the candidate will focus on designing and developing a robust and repeatable AUTOMATED testing capability into the core application code base that will validate key system components such as the calculation engine.. As part of a cross functional, dedicated team, the candidate will work closely with all the team members to understand requirements and develop an automated and time-sensitive regression test suite to verify calculations, accuracy and performance of the transaction engine.
Experience: Education and Skills Required:. 5 + years experience working on all aspects of the SDLC with the Microsoft development platform: .Net framework (1.1/2.0/3.0), C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server 2000/2005, XML, XSLT.. Exceptionally strong technical, analytical and communication skills.. Proven experience in designing and developing a code-driven testing capability.. Proven experience and familiarity with creating, automating, executing and evaluating tests for highly quantitative/mathematical/algorithmic (model driven) investment applications.. Proven experience working with highly scalable server side calculation engines as used in algorithmic trading, trade reconciliation, etc .. Strong OOAP, design pattern experience and relational database experience.. Proven experience providing end-to-end automation and testing of backend business processes
